Through MILNET, our military Employee Resource Group, we support, honor, and give back to those who’ve served our country. MILNET raises veteran awareness and helps our military personnel pursue successful careers and maintain a healthy work-life balance.

Progressive’s military-friendly benefits

With flexible work opportunities, trailing military spouses and families may find flexible employment with the possibility of transferring between Progressive jobs.

Progressive also donates vehicles to military veterans with our annual Keys to Progress® veteran vehicle giveaway program each November and encourages employee participation in military-focused outreach activities, such as sending holiday cards to deployed employees and supporting The Fisher House Foundation.

Differential pay

100% differential pay to active-duty service members and reservists. If you get called up and your basic pay is less than your hourly rate at Progressive, we'll make up the difference. (Duration is based on tenure with the company; two weeks at three months service and 22 additional weeks at your one-year anniversary.

Medical benefits

Continuing medical benefits for active-duty reservists and their dependents or if you’re on orders longer than 30 days, you may cancel Progressive benefits while you utilize the Military Benefits.

Vacation time

Continuing vacation time accrual during a military leave of absence for up to six pay periods.

Dock time

Use of dock time for documented order days. We don't require use of saved vacation time for military service dates.
