As a manager of human resources (HR) on the Centralized HR team (CHRT), you'll serve as a manager within our Leave of Absence (LOA) organization, leading a team of LOA supervisors and leave specialists. In this role, you'll prioritize onboarding, risk mitigation, and triage and assignments. You’ll also oversee the team’s SharePoint page and coordinate analytics and reporting. Additionally, you’ll proactively build relationships in a collaborative environment while continuing to make Progressive a great place to work.

This is a remote position with occasional travel to an office for a meeting and/or training.

Must-have qualifications

  • A minimum of nine years or related work experience in HR or business operations, with at least three of those years leading people, process, projects, or cross functional teams.
  • {OR} Bachelor's degree or higher and a minimum of six years of related work experience in HR or business operations with at least three of those years leading people, process, projects, or cross functional teams.

Preferred skills

  • Demonstrated experience managing complex leave cases and leading a large team
  • Experience managing leave of absence programs, and Workday platform, with a strong understanding of FMLA, ADA, workers' compensation, and other leave-related laws
  • Ability to solve problems and effectively influence and collaborate with leadership & partners to consider alternative points of view and leverage data as appropriate 
  • Extensive skills in coaching and developing others

Compensation

  • $72,100 - $127,700/year depending on experience
  • Gainshare annual cash incentive payment up to 30% of your eligible earnings based on company performance
