As a devops engineer lead for Level20, you'll join a team building new products and capabilities. In this role, you’ll be a go-to team member for all things cloud, including developing and refining patterns for operating our team’s infrastructure and automation in AWS and beyond. You’ll partner with business, operations, security, and technical stakeholders to enhance and refine our DevOps strategy and implementation plans.

This is a hybrid role in downtown Cleveland, OH (Office location: 800 W St. Clair Ave., Suite 200, Cleveland, OH 44113) with free parking.
Work-from-home days are possible for this position on Monday and Friday.
Must-have qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in an Information Technology discipline or related field of study (e.g., Computer Science, Software Engineering, Telecommunication, Math) and a minimum of six years working with operating system hardware and/or software components in designing and scripting infrastructure solutions.
- In lieu of a degree, a minimum of eight years of related experience working with operating system hardware and/or software components in designing and scripting infrastructure solutions.
Preferred skills
- Experience designing, building, and deploying modular and reusable cloud infrastructure solutions in AWS. Experience in regulated industries is a plus.
- Applied knowledge of Kubernetes or similar orchestration frameworks and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools is crucial utilizing Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
- Applied experience in CI/CD tools, monitoring/observability tools, and IAM design and implementation.
- Scripting and general software development knowledge such as Linux Bash, PowerShell, Python, Azure DevOps (ADO), GitHub, JSON, and YAML.
- Possess excellent verbal and written skills and consistently demonstrate the aptitude and passion to learn new skills
Compensation
- $128,000-$150,000/year depending on experience
- Gainshare annual cash incentive payment up to 40% of your eligible earnings based on company performance.
