As a Lead full stack developer – Node/React at Level20, you’ll work within a cross-functional team to build innovative and visionary consumer-facing SaaS-based products. You’ll provide creative direction and problem-solving for various projects at different stages of their life cycles. Using a modern JavaScript framework, you’ll develop new features, refine and maintain existing ones, and write unit tests and documentation for ongoing development and maintenance. You’ll work closely with designers, UX, product strategists, test engineers, and third-party vendors to ensure a shared understanding of the product. Additionally, you’ll collaborate a highly technical team to ensure consistent and coherent architectural patterns across projects and Level20. As a lead, you’ll also drive knowledge sharing, conduct code reviews and provide mentorship.

This is a hybrid role in downtown Cleveland, OH (Office Location: 800 W St Clair Ave STE 200, Cleveland, OH 44113) with free parking.

• If you live within 45 miles: this will be a hybrid role. You’ll work in our office location Tuesday – Thursday and you’ll have the option to work remotely Monday and Friday.    
• If you live more than 45 miles away: this will be a hybrid role. You may work remotely except you’ll work in our office location every 4-6 weeks, Tuesday – Thursday. You may travel on Monday and Friday as necessary.

Must-have qualifications 

• Bachelor's Degree or higher in an Information Technology discipline or related field of study and minimum six years of related work experience designing, programming, and supporting software programs and applications.
• In lieu of the above, a high school diploma or GED or higher and a minimum of eight years related work experience designing, programming, and supporting software programs or applications may be accepted.

Preferred skills

• Demonstrated expertise in React with other JavaScript ES6 concepts and use within a modern JavaScript-based framework such as Vue or Angular
• Demonstrated expertise in Node with other server-side programming (Go, Rust, C#, Java, Python) and GraphQL
• Experience with Postgres and other database technologies (RDBMS and NoSQL)
• Experience with AWS
• Experience with entity relationship design and modeling distributed systems

Compensation

•   $144,000-$168,000/year depending on experience
•   Gainshare annual cash incentive payment up to 40% of your eligible earnings based on company performance
